Essex Gliding Club
We are a gliding club with members from 15 - 75. We meet on Saturdays and Sundays at Ridgwell Airfield, Ashen, Essex
If you fancy getting a different view of what Essex is really like then why not try gliding? If you'd like to try something that little bit different then this could be the sport for you. What's more, gliding isn't as difficult as it seems; at a basic level gliding is only as difficult as driving a car so if you've mastered that then this should seem pretty easy, although if you want to tell your friends how difficult it was we don't mind! There are several clubs where you can go gliding in Essex and many gliding clubs also offer trial lessons so you can try the sport without having to make a big commitment. You can also buy vouchers for other people so if you're trying to think of that perfect present for your partner then getting them to try gliding in Essex could make you a big hit!
