Free event! The Challenge Tour comes to Stoke by Nayland Golf Club

Come and see the Challenge Tour in Stoke by Nayland from 22nd to 25th July! Hang out and watch some great golfers play or take the opportunity to have a go yourself with taster sessions for new people new to golf and bunker and putting clinics for those with more experience. The day and activities are suitable for both children and adults and what’s more it’s completely free!

Every Child Funding

The government has recently launched funding to ensure that every child is able to access out of school activities, no matter what their financial situation is. If your child, or a child you know is unable to take part in out of school sports because of the financial cost of things including subscription fees, examination fees, clothing, transport, equipment and much more then they should contact their school for more information on this fund.
There is a wide range of criteria that can allow young people to receive this funding, so it really is worth asking to check your schools eligibility.

Park Fit

Tone up and get fit for the summer with Annette and Sarah, qualified personal trainers. Embark on the journey for a healthier body whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings of Thorndon Country Park and King Georges Playing Field.

Wednesdays: 1-1.45pm at King Georges Playing Field. Thursday: 7pm-8pm at Thorndon Country Park (Entrance near A127)

All activities are adapted for the individual ensuring everyone gets the most out of it - all for just £5 a session.

New BBC 1 Show looking for Sports Teams

Objective TV are producing a new BBC entertainment show fronted by award winning comedian John Bishop called “John Bishop’s Britain”.

Objective Productions are looking for people from all walks of life to appear in a new BBC entertainment show John Bishop’s Britain which takes a closer and comical look at all the things that affect our lives in this country!

They are particularly keen to hear from Sports Teams and Sporting individuals who may have funny stories, opinions, views etc on a variety of topics.
