BBC Essex Sporting Inspirations
In partnership with sportessex, BBC Essex has launched a new weekly drive time programme which celebrates the successes of local people in Sport. The feature is live on radio every Friday at 6:15pm with John Hayes. If you or someone you know is a ‘sporting inspiration’ please fill out and return the attached submission form to alistair.russell@sportessex.org.uk, as we are currently developing our programme schedule for 2008.
Essex Life: Sporting Villages
In partnership with sportessex, Essex Life Magazine are looking to develop an exciting new feature which will celebrate the success of village sport in Essex. If you are a member of a sports club in your local village then why not let us know about it and we can help you tell the rest of the county how great it is! Examples of the kind of stories we are looking for could be about the fabulous group of people you go rambling with, how joining the local running club changed your life or how your village works together to organise an annual event. We are particularly keen to receive stories which are quirky and fun and promote local sport and community spirit.
